A medieval foundation, the building underwent a major intervention during the eighteenth century and its current aspect originates from the Baroque time.
Inside, on the main floor, exists some of the greatest artistic works with numerous frescoes of seventeenth century and oil paintings dating back to the eighteenth century.
Currently the building is a property of Bra Municipality, who has recently restored it thanks to the donation of Bra Savings Bank Foundation (Fondazione Cassa di Risparmio di Bra). Today the Tourist Information office as well as the exhibitions and cultural events hall are based in this palace.
