On Sunday, June 22, 2025 at 4:30 p.m., at the Museum of Archaeology, History and Art of Palazzo Traversa in Bra, Francesco Olivero will present a concert with archlute and theorbo entitled “Bologna 1623”. A monographic project dedicated to the Bolognese lutenist Alessandro Piccinini, a key composer of lute literature in the first half of the Italian seventeenth century as well as a lutenist at the court of Alfonso II d'Este of Ferrara.
The afternoon is the fifth appointment of the “Mousikon” project by “Zizzola Turismo & Cultura”. The following dates will be on July 5 in the courtyard of Casa Natale Cottolengo with the string trio of the RAI national symphony orchestra of Turin and on July 29 at Palazzo Traversa with a conference on Adolfo Gandino on the day of his birth.
